K of C Great Men of the Knights of Columbus


 This simple skit portrays five key men associated with a Knights of Columbus Council. It was developed by Fr. Maurice J. Wolfe Council #11372 for use at their open house recruiting events. They presented it at the year 2001 mid-term meeting, where it was very well received. Thanks to popular request, they have graciously made it available here for any other council to modify and use to help in their own recruiting efforts.

Each of five men gives a short presentation on his role and meaning to the Knights. Use of robes and regalia can be very effective. The five roles are:

  1. Christopher Columbus
  2. Father McGivney
  3. Supreme Knight Anderson
  4. 4th Degree Color Guard
  5. Grand Knight
